About the Role

FCD AFRICA is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented inspectors to join our expanding inspector network. You'll be at the forefront of Africa's digital compliance transformation, conducting facility audits, GMP inspections, and compliance verifications for manufacturers across the food, personal care, and home care sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced compliance technology while making a real impact on product safety and consumer protection across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct facility audits, GMP compliance checks, and hygiene inspections
  • Use FCD AFRICA's digital inspection platform and mobile tools to document findings
  • Generate detailed inspection reports and compliance assessments
  • Track corrective action plans (CAPA) and non-compliance follow-ups
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and regulatory stakeholders to resolve compliance issues
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements across African jurisdictions
  • Maintain inspection schedules and meet performance KPIs

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Environmental Health or related field
  • 3+ years experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or food/product safety inspections
  • Knowledge of GMP standards, food safety regulations, and quality management systems
  • Strong proficiency with digital tools, mobile applications, and data management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (local languages a plus)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities
  • Professional integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities

What is the work schedule?

Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is available for field inspections and project deadlines. We offer a work-life balance with annual leave, sick leave, and other benefits.
